Christmas Decorating Made Easy

By Diane Albright CPO, Organizing Expert and Speaker

The trick to easy holiday decorating is having Command™ Hooks on hand. 3M’s Command™ line allows you to put hooks where you never thought possible since you don’t have to worry about being left with a nail hole afterward.

These hooks can be put on smooth and semi-smooth surfaces such as walls with paint or wallpaper; glass, windows, mirrors, wood, and metal. The small clear hooks are ideal for hanging strings of Christmas lights on fireplace mantles, mirrors, windows and doors. The large hooks are ideal for hanging Christmas wreaths or other decorations on windows, walls, and doors. The possibilities with these hooks are endless since there is no surface damage left behind.

Each Command™ hook comes with a double sided adhesive strip. You place the strip on the hook, then remove the adhesive backing from the other side, press the hook firmly against the surface. Then clip your string lights under the small clear Command™ hooks or hang your wreath on a larger hook.

Removing the hook is just as easy. To remove, pull straight down on the adhesive strip. As you pull down drag your knuckles along the wall or surface to insure that you are pulling straight down. As you pull down the strip stretches and the adhesive releases. It really couldn’t be any easier. It just takes seconds to attach or remove Command™ hooks.

Add Command™ hooks to your shopping list to make decorating and organizing a breeze. 3M often offers a coupon for Command™ at commandcoupon.com. Be sure to check their website.

You can find Command™ products at a variety of stores such as grocery, hardware, craft, and office.

I wish you quick and simple Christmas decorating!
