Moms & Mentors

Today I had the pleasure of presenting “Organizing Made Easy” to Moms & Mentors in North Wales, PA (just outside of Philadelphia). I thoroughly enjoyed speaking to these 60 delightful women. They were an exceptional group. With their intelligence, warmth, and humor, I could have spoken the entire day. I don’t know who had more fun, them or I, as laughter and learning filled the hour and a half that we spent together. I also was quite impressed with their lavish spread of food and beverage fountain - take a look at the photo.
In attendance we had those of different organizing calibers - those who had their spices in alphabetical order and those who did not (about 95% not’s). We had those who had their clothes in color order and those who did not (about 85% not’s). Everyone seemed to get a chuckle out of “retraining” your socks. We even laughed more discussing the “A” word when in comes to organizing.
Afterwards, a number of people inquired about attending additional seminars to get organized. The timing couldn’t be more perfect as I am presenting three more 2-hour seminars just around the corner from North Wales, in Harleysville PA. The seminars are each Wednesday, 7 to 9 PM, October 22th through November 5th. The upcoming seminars are: Organizing Made Easy - Room by Room; Paper Management; and Time Management for Self-Happiness,
If you attended Moms & Mentors, share your thoughts and organizing successes! What was your favorite tip or topic? What made you laugh the most? What was the first thing you organized when you got home?

Diane,
I attended the M&Ms meeting last week and had a wonderful time!
I do believe that it will definitely take longer training our husbands and kids than it will our socks. haha
I haven’t alphabetized my spices yet, but am working on my sock and panty drawers. I also love the idea about hanging your clothes hangers in backward so that you can see what you didn’t wear at the end of the season… great tip!
Thanks again for taking time to come to North Wales. We all look forward to seeing you again.
